I have been learning how to access the subconscious mind in order to grow my business with abundance and ease. The mind is like an iceberg and majority of the time we only access the tip, completely unaware of the untapped potential of our true power.
Daily meditation is a powerful, simple and free tool that will give you access your subconscious mind and will allow you to harness the power to manifest the life of your dreams.
Every day I spend 30-90 minutes in meditation and visualization practices and have seen incredible results in my personal and professional life.
Just last week I sat in a helicopter flying over New York City and felt a deep sense of gratitude for the power of my mind and what has become possible for me since practicing meditation.
Here is what I’ve learned.
It all starts in the mind. (duh)
The first step to creating a life of your dreams is believing that you can have it. Right now if you close your eyes can you really see yourself flying over New York City in a helicopter?
Does it feel like something far off and unattainable that only rich people do? Or can you feel the wind in your hair as you board the flight, the butterflies in your stomach as you feel the aircraft begin to hover and that moment when you lose your breath at first glimpse of the city from the sky?
Imagining it in your mind, feeling it in your body and believing it with all of your absolute truth is what will bring your dreams to life. I could go deep into the science of this here, but I’ll leave that to the experts (see my list of recommended books & podcasts below to find out more).
Instead, I will share with you my daily ritual of meditation and visualization that helps me to attract epic life experience, find belief on the hardest of days and live the actual life of my dreams.
I start my day with deep breathing. As soon as I wake up and I’m in the in-between stages of dreaming and reality before my mind goes wild with everything it needs to do and all that it thinks I am, I breathe. I imagine the fresh air coming in through the base of my spine, expanding into my heart and flowing with ease into my mind.
I move into a meditation space/posture/mindset. For the next 30-60 minutes I explore a combination of my favourite things:
Journaling - making a list of things I am grateful for, writing out a list of goals and dreams, journaling a day in my life of me 5 years from now
Burning incense, essential oils, sage, palo santo- ‘rituals are a passageway of the soul into the infinite’ - Algernon Blackwood
Listen to a guided meditation or mantra - My meditation is from Joe Dispenza's book and I also have a playlist on my Spotify that is beautiful enchanting music that takes me to another world and calms my mind - see Manifesting Magic playlist here
Sitting in silence - Allowing my mind and everything it is filled with to just be, witness all of what comes and goes without judgment, attachment or meaning
Dance - Allow my body to feel joy, fun and alive (Beyonce is always a good option)
Listening to my body and expressing whatever emotion is present - Sometimes it’s joy, worry, fear, anxiety, sadness, loneliness, gratitude, sexual energy - whatever comes up, I welcome it and allow it to be there. If it needs express I do that, sometimes it comes out in tears or anger and the desire to run away, other times it is pleasure and inspiration and gives birth to some of my brightest ideas.
Manifest - Here is where I consciously focus on what it is that I want for my life. I visualise my wildest dreams, I make a list of all of them and I then I sit for 10-25 minutes and feel it in my body of what it would feel like if those dreams were to come to life.
Gratitude- I always finish my meditation with gratitude in my heart. Whilst I desire to grow and expand my life I also have a lot to be grateful for. Making a list of things I am grateful for allows me to come back into the present and start my day with love in my heart for the life that I live
