How to Get More Eyes on Your Business

You’ve launched a business, have a fabulous website and are ready for the influx of customers that obviously want to buy what you have to sell, there’s just one problem…where are they?

If you’ve just started out or you’ve been in business for a while and things have been slow of late, then now is probably a good time to time to get back to basics and find the people who are willing and able to buy from you.

Getting ‘eyes on your business’ is a essentially your marketing plan and something you should be working on consistently, what I like to call ‘working on you business’ and not always ‘in it’.

At the end of the day the more people who know about your business, the more likely you are to attract that influx of customers you so desire. But attention doesn’t come quick or easy these days so you’re going to have to work at it.

Start by listening to the mini podcast (audio file above) to get my 3 step strategy to help you get started.

Below you’ll find a bunch of resources, talks, podcasts and tips to help you take action today!

Make sure to carve out time each week to work on your eyes/marketing plan to keep you business relevant, growing and future proofed.

‘Don’t find customers for your products, find products for your customers’ — Seth Godin

Questions to consider:

How does your target market find out about your business?

Have they enquired about what you have for sale/what language did they use to describe their needs?

Do you have returning customers?

How many customers do you want/need for your business to succeed?

Who is your ideal target market and where are they spending their time?

How can you get in front of them?

Part Nine: Customer Service Review

Too many people overlook the customer service side of their business because they forget that one very happy customer can be a very powerful tool. When you nail your customer service, it will become an effortless marketing tool.

Part Ten: Marketing Audit

Marketing, now more than ever, is a long game that requires a business or brand to build a relationship of trust with their customers.

MARKETING 101
